Hull and Machinery Insurance

Hull and Machinery (H&M) insurance provides coverage for physical damage to the yacht itself, including its structure (the hull), the mechanical and electrical components (the machinery) and with our Coverage in many cases contents of the yacht referred to as Personal Effects such as laptops, smartphones, cameras, clothing, fishing equipment and even Ships Cash.

A Hull and Machinery Insurance protects against a wide range of risks such as collisions, grounding, fire, mast breakage, vandalism, theft, and other perils that can damage the yacht. It ensures that the yacht owner can repair or replace damaged parts, safeguarding their investment and maintaining the vessel's seaworthiness.

Our Sealogy TOP Cover is a very comprehensive All-Risk Cover that provides coverage for any loss or damage to the insured yacht unless specifically excluded. So essentially, if the policy and/or the Terms & Conditions don't explicitly list a risk as excluded, it's covered.

Our Sealogy BASIC Cover is a very cost effective Named Peril Cover that covers the risks or perils specifically listed in the policy and/or Terms & Conditions, like collision and grounding. If a peril isn't named, it's not covered.
